Aaaaaannnddd we’re off!! And what a beautiful start! Chardonnays that came in measured 22.8 balling, 3.27 pH and 8.05 TA. Just what I wanted. The grapes are healthy and I’m looking forward to a very good 2013 harvest season.

Tomorrow we will be tackling Sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc, Chardonnay and Nouvelle. Monday we start with Pinotage and Merlot. The grapes coloured very well this year and the bunches are full and firm. Nothing to complain about for today, just smiles all round 🙂
