The grapes are ripening at a blistering pace and the first red grapes came in today. We harvested Merlot and Pinotage at 25 balling. The grapes are healthy and full of flavour. We harvested some contract Sauvignon blanc early this morning. The fruit showed very nice tropical flavours. Tomorrow we continue with Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Chenin blanc, Pinotage, Merlot and a little bit of Shiraz.
We are also getting a special block of 20 years old dryland Chenin blanc that will go towards the Chenin blanc Reserve.
