Later the day we visited Viticultors Mas d’en Gil. 40 Hectares of wine grapes and 15 hectares of olives are on the estate.  Old vines, passion and history was the essence of this visit. It was a great honour meeting Mr Rovira. Thanks for having us. Also a great thanks to Aude who helped with translations!

First we went up to a hill by an old mine shaft. The view over the estate was spectacular.

All the activities on the farm is Biodianamic. Some very old Grenache and Carignan is still in production on the farm, with the oldest in the range of 100 years old! Standing amongst these vines are truly a  privilege. Some of the very steep hills are still worked with a mule. Her name is Clara.

A great wine tasting followed, with excellent wines. Thanks to Viticultors Mas d’en Gil for the hospitality and great experience. Till next time..
