The abundance of rain this winter is proving to be troublesome on some farms where we want to do soil sampling. We used a couple of days when the sun was out to sample some land for plating next year. This specific site had beautiful, deep and rich Tukulu and Vilafontes soil forms. Planning to plant Chenin blanc there next year. The site gets a lot of wind, so the trellis system still has to be finalized.
