Spring didn’t start quite as we wanted. Lots of rain and cold is holding the vineyards a bit back, but I believe from next week they will burst out of the starting blocks! Some Chenin blanc vineyards are already going at it, with the first fungal spray almost in sight. We see decent bunches on Chardonnay and Shiraz vines. This is the start of the 2014 harvest. Lots of hard work ahead, but luckily we enjoy what we do!
