A revolution in the vineyard. The Selectiv Process Harvester from Pellenc brings Wine Estate handling of grapes to big Cooperatives. The difference in juice and berry quality is substantial. The grape loads are clean and the berries are almost still intact. No leaves, no petioles, no stems. Just berries and juice. Harvested Viognier with this beautiful metal friend this morning. The juice looks great and the winemaker will most certainly be satisfied. I see only great things to come for the wine industry with innovations like this. Its great to see that it’s not only Wineries that strife to make better quality wines, but that the industry have caring partners who share the same vision.
